Students may be awarded transfer credit for courses they have completed at other accredited colleges and universities. Evaluation of transfer credit is determined on a course-by-course basis by the Registrar after an examination of transcripts. A maximum of 68 credits may be transferred from two-year institutions, and a maximum of 90 credits may be transferred from baccalaureate degree institutions. Cedar Crest College graduates may be awarded a second degree by completing at least 30 credits at Cedar Crest College. Graduates from other regionally accredited institutions may be required to complete additional credits. Transcripts are reviewed on an individual basis.
Most courses in the liberal arts completed at an accredited college or university with a grade of "C" or better will be awarded comparable Cedar Crest College credit. An evaluation for advanced standing is prepared at the request of students who submit official transcripts from accredited post-secondary institutions. Course descriptions may be requested.
