Master of Education
Tuition: $398 per credit

The Master of Education Degree at Cedar Crest College, which may include teacher certification, is designed to prepare prospective and practicing teachers for the challenges of the 21st century classroom. Admission occurs on a rolling basis throughout the year and is open to men and women who have earned a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university. Cedar Crest seeks students who have demonstrated academic and/or professional achievement and promise, as well as those who would bring varied interests, talents and backgrounds to the profession.
Prospective students may select one of three concentrations within the master’s degree program: Elementary Education, Secondary Education, or Art of Teaching. Add-on certification is also available in Special Education.
Since the admissions process is very personal -- each student is considered on an individual basis -- prospective students are encouraged to visit the campus, schedule an admissions interview, and attend an information session. Specific details about the requirements for acceptance into this program are available in a packet of information from the Center for Lifelong Learning at Cedar Crest College.
