CEDAR CREST FALLS AT NEUMANN IN PAC MATCH-UP – WALLOWER SCORES GAME-HIGH 13 POINTS

Aston, PA (February 16, 2008) – Freshman Leann Wallower scored a game-high 13 points, but it would not be enough as Neumann College handed Cedar Crest College a 60-42 loss in Pennsylvania Athletic Conference action at Bruder Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon.

Despite out-scoring Neumann 25-18 in the second half of play, Cedar Crest could not overcome the 42-17 first half deficit for the victory.  

Sophomore Kelly Oakes added 12 points and six boards for the Falcons, while freshman Lauren Seale notched two three-pointers for six points and three rebounds.  Junior Sarah Campbell added a team-high seven boards on the day.  

Britrtany Whetts and Kierian Young each tallied 12 points for the Knights.  

The Falcons fall to 6-18 overall (1-14 PAC) on the season, while Neumann College improves to 14-9 overall (9-5 PAC)

Cedar Crest will return to action on Thursday, February 21 at 7:00 p.m. when they host Centenary College in its final game of the season in Lees Gymnasium.
