IMMACULATA UNIVERSITY DEFEATS CEDAR CREST FIELD HOCKEY

Allentown, PA (September 20, 2007) – The Cedar Crest College field hockey team dropped an 8-0 decision to Immaculata University in Pennsylvania Athletic Conference action on Thursday afternoon. 

Anastasia Likanchuck posted a season-high four goals in the victory for Immaculata, while Alyssa Drescher notched one goal and one assist. 

Immaculata held a 22-2 advantage in shots and a 9-3 advantage in corners.

Sophomore Rachel Orlen stopped 11 shots in the cage for Cedar Crest, while Immaculata’s Bridget Dougherty made two stops in the contest.

The Falcons, who fall to 0-7 overall and 0-3 in the PAC, will be back in action on Saturday, September 22 when they host PAC rival Rosemont College for a 1:00 p.m. contest.
