GWYNEDD-MERCY POSTS WIN OVER CEDAR CREST SOCCER IN PAC ACTION

Gwynedd Valley, PA (October 16, 2007) – Gwynedd-Mercy College posted a 4-0 victory over Cedar Crest College in Pennsylvania Athletic Conference soccer action on Tuesday afternoon.     

Jenn Welte posted two goals, while Danielle Little added one goal and one assist for the Griffins.  Lauren Monte also added one goal and one assist for Gwynedd-Mercy. 

Freshman Amy Stumpff made four saves in the net for Cedar Crest.   

Gwynedd-Mercy held a 12-2 advantage in shots and a 10-2 corner kick advantage. 

The Falcons fall to 2-13 (0-9 PAC) on the season and will host the College of Notre Dame in PAC action on Saturday, October 20 at 1:00 p.m.
