BRITT SCORES TWO GOALS TO LEAD CEDAR CREST SOCCER IN WIN OVER NOTRE DAME

Allentown, PA (October 20, 2007) – Freshman Tiffany Britt put away two goals to lead the Cedar Crest College soccer team to a 3-2 win over the College of Notre Dame on Saturday afternoon in Pennsylvania Athletic Conference action.       

Stephanie Jones added two goals for Notre Dame, while the Falcons’ third goal came on an own goal by Notre Dame.

Britt leads Cedar Crest with 13 points this season, including a team-best six goals. 

Freshman Amy Stumpff made five saves in the net for Cedar Crest.   

Cedar Crest held a 4-1 advantage in corner kicks, while Notre Dame held a 6-5 advantage in shots. 

The Falcons improve to 3-13 (1-9 PAC) on the season and will travel to the College of St. Elizabeth on Wednesday, October 24 for a 4:00 p.m. contest.
