CEDAR CREST TENNIS HANDS NEUMANN LOSS IN KEY PAC MATCH-UP

Allentown, PA (October 10, 2007) – The Cedar Crest tennis team defeated Neumann College, 5-4, in a key Pennsylvania Athletic Conference match on Wednesday afternoon.       

Sophomore Maria Mallery defeated Katie Nell, 6-0, 6-0 in the No. 1 singles spot, while classmate Laura Shivley posted a win over Allsion Trout, 6-2. 6-4, in No. 2 singles action. Freshman Alex Kuebler notched a win over Michelle Steward, 6-1, 6-1 in the No. 3 singles slot. 

Shivley and senior Colleen Ford and Mallery and Kuebler each posted wins in the No. 1 and 2 doubles spots, respectively. 
Cedar Crest improves to 10-3 (6-3 PAC) on the season and will travel to Rosemont College on Saturday, October 13 at 1:00 p.m.
