VOLLEYBALL DEFEATS PAC RIVAL IMMACULATA; WINS SECOND STRAIGHT
Immaculata, PA (September 19, 2007) – The Cedar Crest College volleyball team won its second straight contest with a win over Pennsylvania Athletic Conference rival Immaculata University on Tuesday evening in Alumnae Hall.
The Falcons, who won by scores of 30-14, 26-30, 30-28, and 30-19, handed Immaculata (2-6 overall, 0-3 PAC) its sixth loss this season.
Freshman Kari Lasky led the charge for the Falcons with 14 kills and 14 digs, while sophomore Kelly Oakes posted a game-high 16 kills. Freshman Lauren Seale added 27 assists and three service aces on the night, while sophomore Amanda Dombroski added 11 kills and six digs with a .500 hitting percentage.
With the win, the Falcons improve to 4-5 overall and 1-2 in the PAC for the season and will host Philadelphia Bible on Thursday, September 20 at 7:00 p.m.
