HOLLAND NAMED TO SOFTBALL ALL-PAC SECOND TEAM

Aston, PA (May 6, 2008) – Junior pitcher Allison Holland (Mercerburg, PA/James Buchanan) was named to the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference Second Team by a vote of the league’s coaches released on Tuesday afternoon.

Holland was twice named a PAC Player of the Week, while also being named the Cedar Crest Athlete of the Week two times this season.

She led the league in strikeouts per seven innings, games pitched, and appearances.  She boasted a 2.26 earned run average and led the team with a .317 batting average.  She also led the team in runs scored, hits, and doubles.

Cedar Crest ended the season with a 14-20 (7-13 PAC) overall record.
