HOLLAND NAMED PAC SOFTBALL PITCHER OF THE WEEK FOR SECOND TIME THIS SEASON

Aston, PA (April 7, 2008) -- Junior pitcher Allison Holland (Mercerburg, PA/James Buchanan) was named the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference pitcher of the week for the second time this season following her outstanding play in the week ending April 6. 

Holland notched 20 strikeouts in 10 consecutive innings, leading the Falcons to back-to-back victories over Rosemont College.  Holland held opponents to a .118 batting average, allowing four hits and zero runs in a 2-0 PAC week. 

Holland was also named the PAC pitcher of the week on March 29.

The Falcons are currently on a four-game winning streak with an 11-7 overall record and they are 6-2 in Pennsylvania Athletic Conference play.
