In his own words: he was sick of himself.

For College Relations’ Todd Greb, Healthy U and all of its components were a wake-up call. A former collegiate baseball player, Todd went from being in truly great shape to using work and family as excuses for not hitting the gym.

Deciding it was time to win back the attitude of his college days, Todd used Healthy U to help pull him along. Now choosing to make the commitment, all he had to do was find the time.

With a wife, four kids, a mortgage and a career, how can you possibly make space on your “to-do” list for health and fitness? Todd soon found that he would be sacrificing some sleep in exchange for a 6am workout.

Claiming it’s been worth it since the first time the alarm clock went off, Todd refuses to quit. In fact, he has used his motivation-filled vocabulary to help him compete in Cedar Crest’s First Annual Indoor Triathlon.
Ever, the goal-setter, Todd finds that a mirror can be the best source of motivation one can find. Being able to see a difference in himself, and hear others express that difference keeps Todd striving for higher goals.
Todd has found ways to keep himself active daily. With other Healthy U teammates competing with and against him, rarely does he see a day with no physical activity. And what sucker for loud music wouldn’t take every opportunity to really crank up the volume? Not exactly the status quo while at the office, the gym and Fitness Center are Todd’s best bets.
Though he has now uncovered ways to make living healthy fun, Todd admits it can be tough to get started.
“You have to want to change – want it above everything else. You can talk about it all you want, but to make it work you need focus and determination.”
