instructors to teach
a variety of aquatic fitness classes:
The Rodale Aquatic Center is seeking to fill several part-time aquatic fitness and swim school instructor positions. The instructor is expected to provide safe and friendly instruction, for its users, including assistance with pool access and emergency procedures, as needed.
Qualified swim school instructor applicants will possess a current Lifeguard Training certification (or desire to do so), including CPR for the Professional Rescuer and First Aid. We are seeking mature instructors with excellent people skills.
Aquatic fitness instructors will be certified with Aquatic Education Association, the American Council on Exercise, or the Arthritis Foundation and CPR. We are willing to certify instructors in-house if an applicant is a good match with the mission and goals of the Rodale Aquatic Facility.
We offer flexible hours between 6:00 am and 9:00 pm including early morning shifts, Saturday shifts, and evening shifts available. We offer a competitive wage starting at $8.00 per hour based on experience and certifications. We are also conviently located off of Cedar Crest boulevard in Allentown. This is an excellent opportunity for extra income.
