Other Payment Arrangements

TuitionPay (Academic Management Systems)

TuitionPay Plan

TuitionPay (AMS) allows traditional students to make 10 or 12 interest free monthly payments per year on your student account beginning in May or July.  You can contact TuitionPay directly at 1-800-635-0120.  Please have your student ID number and student invoice handy.  TuitionPay charges a yearly enrollment fee of $55.00.  Term plan information is available upon request.   Enroll online at www.tuitionpayenroll.com.

Employee Tuition Reimbursement Benefits

If your employer reimburses you for your tuition after you complete your course(s), you may defer your payment to the College until you receive your employer's reimbursement.  However, deferred tuition payment must be submitted to Student Financial Services no later than four weeks after grades are issued.

To be eligible to defer your tuition payments until you receive reimbursement from your employer, you must complete a Employer Tuition Benefit Application.  The application requires a signature from your employer confirming your benefit eligibility and terms.  Once your employer and the College approve the application, this application will remain in your student file.  It is the student's responsibility to notify the College as to any change in employment or benefits.  You are responsible for payment in full of all tuition, whether or not reimbursement is ever received from the employer.

You must also complete a Tuition Deferment Application for each semester.  The Tuition Deferment Form and the student's portion of the tuition, if any, are due by the tuition due date.

For further information on these options, please contact Gina Moore at Ext. 3531 or gina@cedarcrest.edu.

Outside Scholarships

Students are encouraged to investigate outside scholarship opportunities from hometown civic clubs, high schools, parents' employers, churches, and other organizations. You can also check the bulletin board outside Student Financial Services for current outside scholarship opportunities.

Students are required to notify the College if they will receive any outside scholarships, as federal regulations require these to be considered a resource in determining aid eligibility. If adjustments to the aid package are necessary due to outside scholarships, Cedar Crest will reduce self-help aid first (student loans) and will adjust grants only if necessary to prevent an over award.

Unless otherwise noted, applications are available in the Student Financial Services Office.
