With the text taken entirely from the journals of real life leaders in the women's movement, The Goddesses Part I offers a compelling look at the fight for gender equality and women's rights.  Featuring famous women from the 19th and 20th centuries, such figures as Elizabeth Cady Stanton, "Mother" Mary Jones, Soujourner Truth, Coco Chanel, Amelia Earhart, Margaret Sanger, Rosa Parks and others.
