Visiting Artists/Gallery Exhibition Series

Lachaise Gallery and the Center for Visual Research, located in the Miller Family Building at Cedar Crest College, houses six rotating exhibits each academic year, including one during the summer semesters. Four of these exhibits showcase the works of a diverse selection of visiting artists who bring their artwork—and insight—to the campus each year. The Visiting Artist/Gallery Exhibition Series program allows students to:

  • Meet with and gain insight from a professional artist via guest lectures and/or in the studio.
  • Assist in the installation of a professional artist’s work in the campus gallery.
  • Gain exposure to different media and methods during each year of study.
