Cedar Crest Earns First Prize in 2014 Ethics Bowl

Cedar Crest College Ethics Team
Cedar Crest's team included Kaitlyn Brendlinger, Courtney Clements, Kyle Elsasser, Penny Elsasser, Christine Jacoby, Chelsea Klausfelder, Marissa Lawall and Tianning Zhang.

Congratulations to Cedar Crest’s Ethics Bowl team for finishing first in the 2014 Fleming Institute for Business Ethics Bowl Competition. The event challenges teams from local colleges and universities to present their ethical views on a business case study to a panel of judges. This year’s study was "The Case of the Un-Civil Coach." Cedar Crest’s team was led by Christine Lombardo-Zaun, Esq., assistant professor in the business and management department, with help from associate professor Michael Donovan.

"Every single person on our team had a job to do and every one stepped up and did their job well," said Lombardo-Zaun. "We’ve really worked hard for the past couple months and it was important to me for my team to see their hard work pay off."

For their first place finish, the team will receive $3,500 and will be presented a trophy at a special ceremony on Monday, April 28 at DeSales University.
