CPA Certificate

This specialized certificate is designed for individuals who possess a bachelor’s degree in a field other than accounting and would like to be able to sit for the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam in Pennsylvania.

When combined with a previously earned bachelor’s degree, this program will fulfill the 150-semester-hour requirement promoted by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and required by many states in the nation. By completing the 36-credit certificate, you will:

  • Meet the educational requirements mandated by the State Board of Accountancy.
  • Be qualified to sit for the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam in Pennsylvania.
  • Gain exposure to all areas of examination testing.

Note: All 36 credits of this certificate must be completed at Cedar Crest College.
