Roxanne Addino '13 cooks up a Marketing Strategy
Roxanne Addino, 2013 Communication and Dance double major, is creating a marketing strategy for Colebrook Bakery.
As a communication major, she is interested in the field of marketing and felt she could help expand the bakery’s overall business through social media cites including Facebook, YouTube, and the bakery webpage.
Addino became involved in the project after a discussion with the bakery owners. Being a small family owned and operated bakery, they wanted a way to move away from wholesale baked goods and more towards wedding cakes and specialty cakes.
Through the marketing strategy, a social media presence for the bakery will reach more customers, which will then increase wedding cake and specialty cake sales.
“We are very pleased with the ideas and the work that is being done to our website and Facebook pages. Roxanne is definitely taking them in the right direction and we anticipate many good things from this endeavor,” Owner, Duane Sanders.
Through the use of social media, Addino’s main goal is to help Colebrook Bakery reach their fullest potential and become the go to bakery for wedding and specialty cakes.
She will be presenting her final presentation of Colebrook Bakery’s marketing strategy on April 30, 2013.
