Events & Activities

College Media Advisers Convention-New York City

Each year, communication students and members of The Crestiad travel to the College Media Advisers convention in New York City.

Students have a chance to:

  • Meet with over 1,200 other students interested in new media, print journalism, photography, literary magazines and more
  • Take media-related courses at the convention
  • Tour major newsrooms such as The New York Times, ABC News, Rolling Stone, and The Associated Press
  • Explore New York City

Staff members of The Crestiad also receive a review and judging of their latest issues.
