Honor Society
Students with a record of academic success and a passion for communication are invited to join the Tau Beta chapter of Lambda Pi Eta, the national honor society of the National Communication Association.
Lambda Pi Eta is represented by the Greek letters L (lambda), P (pi) and H (eta). Together, these three letters symbolize Aristotle’s three modes of persuasion:
- Logic (Logos)
- Emotion (Pathos)
- Ethics (Ethos)
New members of LPH are inducted into Tau Beta each spring. To be eligible, students must:
- Have completed 60 college credits, including 12 credits in communication
