Larry Quarino, Ph.D. Named a Top DNA Analysis Professor by ForensicsColleges.com
ForensicsColleges.com, a directory of college programs and career profiles related to forensic science fields, named Larry Quarino, Ph.D. one of 15 top DNA analysis professors.
ForensicsColleges.com looked at the professors’ involvement with research related to new technologies and strategies in their field, their level of education, their work in the field, and whether or not they’ve been published regarding DNA analysis techniques and processes.
Quarino has been the director of Cedar Crest’s forensic science program since 2002, when he joined the faculty as an associate professor. Prior to coming to the College, he spent four years with the New Jersey State Police working as a forensic scientist, and 11 years with the Office of Chief Medical Examiner in New York City, where he supervised forensic scientists who analyzed physical evidence in more than 1,000 sexual assault or homicide cases.
