Theatre Audition Criteria
To audition for the theatre scholarship, student must perform a 3- to 5-minute contemporary monologue.

Dance Audition Criteria
The dance audition consists of center floor work in addition to a movement phrase in modern or contemporary dance style. Students should come prepared with solo choreography, which should be no longer than 3 minutes and may be choreographed by student or someone else. Students will also be interviewed by one of our faculty members. Music should be on a CD and should contain only the solo music.

Technical Theatre Audition Criteria
Technical production or design students must provide 2 letters or recommendation from their high school theatre advisors/teachers or community theatre directors. Students must also provide a resume of their work and pictures or a portfolio.

Forensic Speech Audition Criteria
Forensic Speech students should prepare an 8-10 minute oral interpretation presentation (prose, poetry, or dramatic interpretation), or an 8-10 minute public address presentation (informative or persuasive). Manuscripts in binders are preferable for oral interpretation presentations. Memorization is preferable for public address presentations. Those who audition will also complete a short interview with the Director of Forensic Speech.
