Accepted Students

Congratulations on your acceptance to Cedar Crest College!

This is an exciting time for you! But it can be stressful, too. You want to choose the undergraduate school that’s right for you—one that will help you reach your goals, achieve your dreams, build lifelong friendships…and have the time of your life! We know that Cedar Crest College can do all of this for you—as it has for thousands of women just like you. If you agree, you can skip ahead to step 4! If not, let us help you out, starting with Step 1.

Step 1: Visit us (or visit again)!

The only way to get a true feel for our College is to come to our beautiful campus, meet our friendly and welcoming students, sample our delicious food, and chat with the professors in your field of interest. Plan your visit now!

Step 2: Ask, ask, ask!

Talk to your admissions counselor on the phone, through e-mail, or when you visit our campus. Find out what you need to know about whatever you’re wondering about. Some ideas:

  • Financial aid and scholarships
  • Majors, dual majors, minors, and flexible degree options
  • Activities, sports, events, and student life

Step 3: Remember what’s special about Cedar Crest College.

Cedar Crest College offers some very unique benefits, including:

  • Personalized attention: We offer a student-faculty ratio of 11:1, small class sizes, and the individual attention to help you succeed.
  • Faculty with real-world experience: Our professors have experience both in the classroom and on the job—and they’ll share what they know with you.
  • Leadership roles for women: As a women’s college, Cedar Crest offers more opportunities for women students to practice leadership in classes, clubs, and the community.
  • Liberal arts courses: New and amazing careers are being created all the time. A liberal arts degree means that you’ll be ready for anything—and more appealing to future employers.
  • Global awareness: Everything we do affects both our community and the world around us. Cedar Crest College believes in helping students make a positive difference in both.

Step 3: Visit “My CedarCrest” Online

When you’re accepted to Cedar Crest, we send you a login and password in the mail, so you will have access to ALL of our behind-the-scenes information and online tools. This site can help you customize classes and activities, learn about students, faculty, and staff, and more. Take some time to click through the links and see what we’ve got! (If you haven’t received your login and password yet, call the admissions office at 800-360-1222 or call your admissions counselor. You can also e-mail us at admissions@cedarcrest.edu.)

Step 4: Make It Official!

To accept the offer of admission and to reserve a place in the class entering in fall 2011, you will have to submit your $100 enrollment deposit. This deposit will be credited to your account and is non-refundable. You can submit your enrollment deposit online by clicking here

Once you click on the link, you will be prompted for your login and password for the My CedarCrest portal (if you have not yet received this information, contact the Admissions Office). After logging in, choose the Admissions Tab, select the Accepted Students page, then scroll to the text box titled "Accept Our Offer of Admission."
