Meet the Admissions TeamAndrea Stewart
Andrea Stewart has enrolled nearly 20 Cedar Crest College classes while working as an Admission counselor. She feels that coming to work on such a beautiful campus is a real treat.
A History and German major in college, Andrea continues to pursue her passions through travel and reading. She and her family regularly visit National Parks, historic sites, battlefields and forts. When time and money allow, she likes to tour Europe and visit her relatives who live abroad. An avid reader, Andrea’s favorite books are Three Cups of Tea (Mortensen) and John Adams (McCullough).
Andrea’s favorite season is the fall, because it means the students return to campus and Monday Night Football begins.
Jesenia Holguin is a recent alumna of the College.
She is looking forward to traveling to meet students and working with prospective students throughout the admissions process. While a student, Jesenia was a three-sport athlete, playing volleyball, basketball and lacrosse. She was also a member the national community service fraternity Alpha Phi Omega. When she is not in the office, Jesenia enjoys spending time with family and friends and her two dogs, Zoey and Gizmo.
Amber Nichols is excited to become part of the Cedar Crest community as a part of the admission staff. With two years of experience, Amber will be traveling extensively in New Jersey, Delaware, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts. Amber will also coordinate the Cedar Crest College Ambassador program.
Amber has a Bachelor’s Degree in English from Thiel College and a Master’s Degree in Education from Frostburg State University. In her free time, Amber enjoys reading, going to the movies, and spending time with friends and family. A native of western Pennsylvania, Amber also enjoys exploring local attractions.
Josh is the newest member of the admissions team and will work with student athletes. He is excited to be a part of the Cedar Crest College community and is looking forward to interacting with prospective and current students, faculty and staff.
Josh's previous experiences in higher education have included coaching college baseball, being an academic advisor and working in a Student Union. Josh also played professional baseball for the Allentown Ambassadors and he is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Higher Education. Josh can be found attending high schools and college fairs in Northern Pennsylvania.
Ann is our newest member of the Cedar Crest Admissions staff, and she is very happy to work with traditional-aged transfer students. With more than five years of experience in college advising, she is passionate about helping students realize their educational goals. She especially believes in the Cedar Crest experience because of its support of young woman, both academically and socially.
Ann holds a bachelor’s degree in English and is a wife and mother of two. In her free time, she loves attending her children’s sporting and musical events, playing and teaching piano lessons, and taking west coast swing dance lessons. Being a nature lover, Ann also enjoys gardening, hiking and camping with her family. She admires Cedar Crest’s many different species of trees on campus, and thinks that the Cedar Crest College’s natural environment lends to a more sophisticated learning experience for students.
