SUMMER ORIENTATION 2009
Overview
New Student Orientation is a time to explore all of the great opportunities that Cedar Crest College has to offer, from academics to co-curricular activities. Meeting the Class of 2013, along with outstanding faculty, staff and upper-class students is an exciting experience. A detailed overview will be provided at check-in. The following is a sample of what you will experience during Summer Orientation:
- Opportunities to meet with your faculty in a small group setting.
- A chance to select and/or review your fall academic schedule.
- Learn about degree requirements and expectations and what it takes to be academically successful.
- Meet new friends and make new connections. The OAs (Orientation Assistants) are here to ensure that you have a good time, learn more about Cedar Crest, and get a jump start on college life.
- Seminars on student leadership, Information Technology, women’s education, residential living, commuter campus life and student activities.
- An overview of our mission, what makes us special and why you have made the right choice in choosing Cedar Crest College!
- And of course fun! We’ve planned entertainment that will make your orientation experience enjoyable.
