What are alumnae saying about these events?

“I attended some of the first GOLD events held at TGIF Fridays and others at the President’s Residence, Cactus Blue and Highlands Braveheart Pub.
I enjoy the GOLD events immensely. They are a fun and relaxing way to stay connected with Cedar Crest. The events are typically in the evening too, which makes them easy to fit into my schedule. I have also been able to reconnect with alums that I remember seeing on campus, briefly talked to, but did not keep in touch with regularly. I have been surprised at some of the alums that I have seen.
I enjoy socializing with fellow CCC grads and seeing some of the GOLD event special guests like Maynard Cressman and Micah Sadigh. I like that the alumnae office added these special events for younger alumnae!”

“I think the GOLD events are great for reconnecting with classmates other than at our yearly reunion. It's a good way to keep in touch with our friends, and feel like we are still an active part of our alma mater.
I love connecting with other young alumnae. It's great to see friends and strangers alike that I can network with, but also interact with the current senior class and hear about any changes that the college is going through. It's a great way to keep updated on the happenings of Cedar Crest.
I like seeing old friends and networking, but I also like that the events are a little more informal. It's also nice getting to see the guest professors that I had taken for classes while in college.”
