FIELD HOCKEY FALLS TO PHILADELPHIA BIBLE
Allentown, PA (October 18, 2007) – The Cedar Crest College field hockey team dropped a 3-0 decision to Philadelphia Bible University on Thursday afternoon in non-league action.
The Falcons held PBU scoreless until the 28:40 mark in the second half when Bethany Hill scored the game-winner. Rebecca Gill added a goal 10:31 later, before LeAnn Marcheski posted the final goal with just over two minutes remaining.
Sophomore Rachel Orlen, who ranks second in the country in saves per game, posted 17 saves in the contest.
The Falcons, who fall to 0-15 overall, will be back in action on Saturday, October 20 when they travel to Cabrini College for a 1:00 p.m. game.
