BILLOW AND SHIVLEY SELECTED TO ATTEND NCAA LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE

Indianapolis (March 20, 2008) – Freshman Caitlin Billow and sophomore Laura Shively were selected by the National Collegiate Athletic Association to attend the National Student-Athlete Development Conference held May 25-29 in Orlando, Florida at the Walt Disney World Resort.

The NCAA National Student-Athlete Development Conference provides NCAA student-athletes with a forum to openly discuss issues that may affect them on their campuses and in their communities, while also providing them with the opportunity to enhance their leadership, communication, decision-making and problem-solving skills.

The conference also promotes better communication among student-athletes, coaches, administrators, faculty and communities.

Billow is a starting back on the field hockey team here at Cedar Crest, while Shivley is a member of the record-setting tennis team.
