KING’S COLLEGE DOWNS CEDAR CREST IN SOCCER ACTION
Allentown, PA (September 29, 2007) – King’s College used a big second half to earn a 3-0 victory over Cedar Crest College on Saturday afternoon in non-conference action.
Lisa McMillian scored on a penalty corner at the 27:33 mark in the second half to give King’s the 1-0 lead.
McMillian scored again with just over three minutes remaining in the contest, before Sara Colletta finished the scoring with 2:59 remaining.
Freshman Amy Stumpff made 10 saves, while senior Caitlyn Little posted seven saves in the net for Cedar Crest.
The Falcons fall to 2-9 (0-5 PAC) on the season and host Misericordia University on Wednesday, September 3 at 4:00 p.m.
