VOLLEYBALL EARNS WIN OVER RUTGERS CAMDEN; FALLS TO DESALES
Allentown, PA (September 29, 2007) – The Cedar Crest College volleyball team posted a 3-0 victory over Rutgers Camden, while falling 3-0 to DeSales University on Saturday afternoon in non-conference action held at DeSales.
Cedar Crest dropped the first match, 30-7, 30-24, and 30-23, to DeSales, while outlasting Rutgers Camden, 30-7, 30-13, and 30-10.
The present PAC Player of the Week, freshman Keri Lasky, paced the Falcons 16 digs in the loss to DeSales. Sophomore Kelly Oakes had six kills and six digs, while freshman Lauren Seale posted 15 assists and 12 digs.
Lasky led the Falcons with eight kills in the victory over Rutgers Camden. Sophomore Mackenzie Lee posted a game-high six service aces, while Oakes added five.
The Falcons are now 7-9 (2-2 PAC) on the season and will travel to Alvernia College on Tuesday, October 2 for a 7:00 p.m. match.
