PHILADELPHIA BIBLICAL BESTS SOCCER IN CSAC ACTION


Langhorne, PA (October 6, 2008) – Brittany Sparling and Amanda Kirkner each scored a second half goal to lift Philadelphia Biblical University to a 2-0 win in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action over visiting Cedar Crest College on Saturday. 

The Crimson Eagles held a 12-3 corner kick advantage and outshot the Falcons 24-7.

Freshman April Johnson made six saves in the net for Cedar Crest.

Cedar Crest falls to 0-8 overall and 0-4 in conference play, while Philadelphia Biblical improves to 3-8 overall and 1-3 in the CSAC.

Cedar Crest will host the College of St. Elizabeth on Wednesday, October 8 for a 4:00 p.m. non-conference match-up.
