KEYSTONE COLLEGE EDGES CEDAR CREST SOCCER IN 1-0 VICTORY

Allentown, PA (October 15, 2008) – The Keystone College soccer team edged host Cedar Crest College, 1-0, in a Colonial States Athletic Conference matchup on Wednesday afternoon. 

Keystone’s Sam Weiss scored the eventual game-winner at the 5:01 mark early in the first half to give the Giants the 1-0 lead.

Cedar Crest, playing short one player on the field, gave an outstanding effort, posting 10 shots in the contest, while Keystone posted 11.  Freshman April Johnson made 10 saves on the day for the Falcons.

The Falcons fall to 1-10 overall and 0-6 in CSAC play.

The Falcons will travel to the College of Notre Dame on Saturday, October 18 at 3:00 p.m. in CSAC action.
