COLLEGE OF NOTRE DAME SLIPS PAST CEDAR CREST IN SOCCER ACTION

Baltimore, MD (October 18, 2008) – The College of Notre Dame used a big second half surge to defeat Cedar Crest College, 3-0, in Colonial States Athletic Conference play on Saturday afternoon.

Notre Dame scored all three goals in the second half of play on shots by: Stephanie Jones, Ashleigh Jones, and Romy Behrevanband.

Despite playing with just nine players, Cedar Crest still managed to get off three shots on the contest, while Notre Dame notched 29 shots.

Freshman April Johnson made 11 saves in net for Cedar Crest. 

The Falcons fall to 1-11 overall and 0-7 in CSAC play, while the Gators now post a 5-9 overall record and a 4-4 conference mark.

The Falcons will travel to Gwynedd-Mercy College on Monday, October 20 at 4:00 p.m. in CSAC action.
