CEDAR CREST COLLEGE SOCCER FALLS TO GWYNEDD-MERCY COLLEGE

Allentown, PA (October 20, 2008) – Cedar Crest freshman April Johnson made a career-high 33 saves, but it would not be enough as the Falcons dropped a 8-1 decision to Gwynedd-Mercy College on Monday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference action. 

Gwen Conte posted four goals and two assists to lead the Griffins, while the Falcons lone goal came from sophomore Tiff Britt late in the second half on a penalty kick. 

The Falcons fall to 1-12 overall and 0-8 in CSAC play, while Gwynedd improves to 7-9 overall and 6-2 in the CSAC.

Cedar Crest will travel to Valley Forge Christian College on Wednesday, October 22 at 4:00 p.m. in non-league play.
