Kansas City, KS (December 3, 2008) – The Cedar Crest College soccer program added another accolade to its 2008 season by being awarded the Team Academic Award by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America announced by the NSCAA office this week.
A total of 366 soccer teams (104 men, 262 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the NSCAA Team Academic Award for the 2007-08 academic year. Of that total, 60 schools had both their men's and women's programs recognized.
The Falcons posted a 3.24 team grade point average for the 2007-2008 academic year.
