BAPTIST BIBLE HANDS CEDAR CREST SOCCER LOSS IN CSAC ACTION

Clarks Summit, PA (September 18, 2008) – The Cedar Crest College soccer team dropped a 7-0 decision to Baptist Bible in both teams Colonial States Athletic Conference opener on Thursday afternoon. 

Laura Abbey notched two goals for Baptist Bible over the opening 10 minutes of the contest before Carly Harper added a third at the 29 minute mark.  Baptist Bible held a 3-0 advantage at the half.

Brittany DeWalt and Hannah Andrist then each added two goals in the second half for Baptist Bible.

Freshman April Johnson made 18 saves in goal for the Falcons. 

Cedar Crest falls to 0-5 overall (0-1 CSAC) on the season, while Baptist Bible improves to 4-0 overall (1-0 CSAC).

The Falcons will host Marywood University on Tuesday, September 23 at 4:00 p.m. in CSAC action.
