NEUMANN OUTLASTS TENNIS IN CSAC PLAY

Aston, PA (October 4, 2008) – Neumann College topped Cedar Crest College, 7-2, at Sun Valley High School in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action on Saturday.

Junior Maria Mallery defeated Allison Trout, 6-0, 6-3, at #1 Singles and partnered with sophomore Alex Kuebler to defeat Trout and Courtney Hartel 8-4 at #1 Doubles. The win at doubles is the seventh for Mallery and Kuebler and third straight.

Cedar Crest falls to 7-5 overall and 3-2 in conference play, while Neumann evens its overall record at 7-7 and improves to 6-2 in CSAC standings.

Cedar Crest will host new conference rival Keystone College on Tuesday, October 7 at 3:30p.m.
