PBU HANDS CEDAR CREST VOLLEYBALL CONFERENCE LOSS

Allentown, PA (October 2, 2008) – Philadelphia Biblical University earned a hard-fought 3-0 victory over host Cedar Crest College in Colonial States Athletic Conference play on Thursday evening in Lees Gymnasium.

PBU defeated Cedar Crest by scores of: 25-22, 25-16, 25-22.

Junior Kelly Oakes again led the way for the Falcons with seven kills and 13 digs on the night.  Junior Mackenzie Lee added seven kills and 12 digs, while also posting two service aces.  Lee ranks 24th in the nation, averaing .88 aces per set.

The win improves PBU to 14-7 overall ( 3-0 CSAC) while the Falcons fall to 4-15 (0-5 CSAC).

The Falcons will travel to Alvernia University to take on Penn State Berks and Alvernia on Saturday, October 4 at 1:00 and 3:00 p.m.
