VOLLEYBALL PULLS BIG WIN OVER VALLEY FORGE CHRISTIAN IN NON-LEAGUE PLAY

Allentown, PA (October 20, 2008) – The Cedar Crest College volleyball team pulled a huge 3-0 non-league victory over Valley Forge Christian College on Monday evening in Lees Gymnasium. 

The Falcons topped VFCC in three sets by totals of 25-13, 25-14, and 25-18.

Junior Mackenzie Lee, who ranks 21st in the country averaging .86 aces per game, notched a game-high five service aces and also led the Falcons with seven kills and added eight digs. 

Junior Amanda Dombroski also added seven kills and posted 11 digs, while junior Kelly Oakes added six kills and a game-high 16 digs.

The Falcons overall record improves to 6-20 overall.  Cedar Crest will next travel to Centenary College on Wednesday, October 22 at 7:00 p.m. in Colonial States Athletic Conference action.
