CEDAR CREST VOLLEYBALL BATTLED HARD IN LOSS TO CENTENARY
Hackettstown, NJ (October 22, 2008) – The Cedar Crest College volleyball team battled Centenary College , but fell, 3-1 in Colonial States Athletic Conference action on Wednesday evening in Folkner Gymnasium.
The Cyclones tallied scores of 25-19, 20-25, 27-25, and 25-16 to pull out the victory.
Junior Kelly Oakes had an outstanding day serving for the Falcons with a season-high nine service aces. She also added 14 digs and seven kills. Junior Amanda Dombroski had a team-high eight kills, while sophomore Lauren Seale notched a team-high 17 digs and 21 assists. Junior Mackenzie Lee also added 15 digs in the loss for the Falcons.
Centenary was led by Victoria Rice, who posted a game-high 17 kills.
The Falcons overall record falls to 6-21 overall (1-8 CSAC). Cedar Crest will next travel to Neumann College on Tuesday, October 28 at 7:00 p.m. in Colonial States Athletic Conference action.
