VOLLEYBALL FALLS TO NEUMANN IN FINAL CSAC CONTEST OF THE SEASON

Allentown, PA (October 28, 2008) – The Cedar Crest College volleyball team dropped its final Colonial States Athletic Conference contest of the season to Neumann College on Tuesday evening in Bruder Gymnasium. 

The Knights took the contest, 3-0, by scores of 25-14, 25-9, and 25-9 over the Falcons.

Junior Mackenzie Lee, the current Cedar Crest Athlete of the Week, tallied a team-high eight digs in the contest, while junior Kelly Oakes posted a team-high five kills.

Ashley Mathis led Neumann with a game-high nine kills.

The Falcons overall record falls to 6-22 overall (1-9 CSAC).  Cedar Crest will host William Paterson in the Falcons’ final game of the season on Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. in Lees Gymnasium.
