KING’S COLLEGE DEFEATS CEDAR CREST VOLLEYBALL IN FOUR SETS

Allentown, PA (September 3, 2008) – The Cedar Crest College volleyball team fell, 3-1, to undefeated King’s College in non-conference action on Wednesday evening in Lees Gymnasium. 

Sophomore Kelly Oakes led the Falcons with 12 kills and 18 digs, while classmate Mackenzie Lee added a team-high 21 digs.  Sophomore Amanda Dombroski added ten kills and 14 digs in the loss.

Cedar Crest falls to 0-4 on the season, while King’s improves to 5-0 overall.

The Falcons will travel to Philadelphia Biblical University on Saturday afternoon for a tournament.  Cedar Crest will play Ramapo at 8:30 a.m., Stevenson at 12:30 p.m., and a playoff game at 2:30 or 4:30 p.m.
