CEDAR CREST VOLLEYBALL EARNS WIN AT PBU CLASSIC
Langhorne, PA (September 6, 2008) – The Cedar Crest College volleyball team posted a 3-0 win over Rutgers-Newark University, while falling 3-0 to Stevenson University and 3-1 to Ramapo College on Saturday afternoon at the Philadelphia Biblical University Volleyball Classic.
Sophomore Kelly Oakes led the Falcons with six kills, 13 digs, and four service aces in the win over Rutgers-Newark. Freshman Katey Dauble added 11 digs in the win for the Falcons.
Sophomore Amanda Dombroski posted 14 digs in the loss to Stevenson, while Oakes added 11 digs, five kills, and three blocks.
Junior Mackenzie Lee led Cedar Crest with eight kills and three service aces in the loss to Ramapo, while Oakes posted 15 digs and three service aces. Sophomore Lauren Seale added seven kills and 16 assists.
Cedar Crest improves to 1-6 on the season.
The Falcons will travel to Lancaster Bible College on Tuesday, September 9 at 7:00 p.m. for a non-league contest.
