COLLEGE OF NOTRE DAME HANDS CEDAR CREST FIRST LEAGUE LOSS

Baltimore, MD (September 13, 2008) – The Cedar Crest College volleyball team dropped a 3-1 Colonial States Athletic Conference contest to the College of Notre Dame on Saturday afternoon in both teams league opener.

Notre Dame won by scores of (25-14, 25-15, 24-26, 25-20).

Junior Kelly Oakes led the Falcons with a team-high 12 kills and 10 digs.  Junior Mackenzie Lee added 11 kills, 10 digs, and three service aces.  Sophomore Lauren Seale added 29 assists and 10 digs in the loss.

Cedar Crest falls to 1-9 (0-1 CSAC) on the season, while  Notre Dame improves to 3-2 overall (1-0 CSAC).

The Falcons will host Gwynedd-Mercy on Tuesday, September 16 at 7:00 p.m. in a CSAC matchup.
