CEDAR CREST  VOLLEYBALL TOPS ST. ELIZABETH IN THREE SETS

Morristown, NJ (September 18, 2008) – The Cedar Crest College volleyball team topped The College of St. Elizabeth, 3-0, in non-conference action on Thursday evening.   

The Falcons won by scores of 25-19, 25-8, and 25-13.

Junior Kelly Oakes had another outstanding performance for Cedar Crest, tallying a game-high 13 kills.  She also added nine digs in the win.  Freshman Lauren Seale notched game-highs with 15 assists, 11 digs, and four service aces.  Freshman Katey Dauble also posted four service aces in the victory for the Falcons. 

Cedar Crest improves to 2-10 on the season.

The Falcons will host PSU Abington and Misericordia on Saturday, September 20 at 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., respectively in non-league action.
