SUNDERHAUS NAMED TO CSAC BASKETBALL HONOR ROLL OF THE WEEK FOR SECOND TIME

Aston, PA (January 11, 2010) – Sophomore Lizzy Sunderhaus (Hamilton,OH/Stephen T. Badin) was named to the Colonial States Athletic Conference women’s basketball Honor Roll for her outstanding play in the week ending January 10th. 

Sunderhaus tallied 18 points to lead Cedar Crest to a 76-65 victory over Bryn Mawr College in non-league action on Tuesday evening.  Sunderhaus, who is ranked eighth in the nation in rebounds per game, also grabbed 11 boards in the win for the Falcons. 

Sunderhaus currently leads Cedar Crest in points per game (14.7), rebounds per game (13.0), blocks (17), steals (16), and field goal percentage (46.4%).

Cedar Crest is currently 6-4 overall on the season.  The Falcons will return to action Monday evening when they travel to Centenary College for a 6:00 p.m. tip-off in Colonial States Athletic Conference play.
