HORN AND WALLOWER LEAD CEDAR CREST OVER KEYSTONE COLLEGE IN CSAC PLAY
 
La Plume, PA (January 16, 2010) – Sophomores Allison Horn (New Tripoli, Northwestern) and Leann Wallower (Havertown, PA/Haverford) combined to score 41 points to lead Cedar Crest College basketball to a 74-61 win over Keystone College in Colonial States Athletic Conference action on Saturday afternoon. 

Horn scored her career-high with 22 points, including 4-for-5 from three point land, while Wallower added 19 points, including 7-for-10 from the field. 

Senior Kelly Oakes (Wilmington, DE/Delcastle) added 11 points and five boards and senior Lakeema Jones (Williamsport, PA/Williamsport) added 10 points in the win for the Falcons.  Sophomore Lizzy Sunderhaus (Hamilton, OH/Stephen T. Badin) posted six points, six bords, four assists, and two steals for Cedar Crest.

Keystone was led by Ellen Fallon, who posted a team-high 14 points for the Giants.  Melinda Morre and Yasmin Bates each added 12 points for the hosts in the contest. 

Cedar Crest’s hot shooting in the first half gave them a 38-22 halftime lead.  The Falcons shot 48.1 percent from the field in the contest, while also shooting 50.0 percent from beyond the arc.

With the win, Cedar Crest improves to 8-5 overall (2-2 CSAC) and will take on CSAC rival Rosemont College on Monday evening in Lees Gymnasium at 6:00 p.m.  Keystone falls to 3-9 overall (1-4 CSAC).
