SUNDERHAUS NAMED TO CSAC BASKETBALL HONOR ROLL OF THE WEEK

Aston, PA (November 30, 2009) – Sophomore Lizzy Sunderhaus (Hamilton,OH/Stephen T. Badin) was named to the Colonial States Athletic Conference women’s basketball Honor Roll for her outstanding play in the week ending November 29th. 

Sunderhaus was named the Falcon Classic Tip-Off Tournament MVP after leading Cedar Crest to the Tournament Championship on Saturday, November 20th. She posted back-to-back double-doubles with 17 points and 18 boards in a 69-57 win over Eastern University, while posting 23 points and 11 rebounds in a 65-39 win over Lancaster Bible College.

She also added nine points, eight boards, three blocks and three steals in a 97-72 loss to nationally ranked DeSales University.  Sunderhaus then posted nine points and a season-high 18 boards in a 73-61 win over Penn State Berks on Tuesday evening.

Cedar Crest, which is 3-1 overall, will travel to Wilkes University tonight, Monday, November 30th for a 7:00 p.m. start in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
