WALLOWER NAMED CEDAR CREST ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Allentown, PA (November 30, 2009) – Junior Leann Wallower (Havertown, PA/Haverford) was named the Cedar Crest Falcon of the week for her outstanding play in the week ending November 29th. 

Wallower scored a season-high 22 points against nationally ranked DeSales University and also added 19 points in the Championship game of the Falcon Classic Tournament win over Eastern University.  For her efforts in the Falcon Classic, Wallower was named to the All-Tournament Team. 

She also scored 15 points in Cedar Crest’s 64-53 win over Wilkes University and added 13 points and eight boards in a 65-39 win over Lancaster Bible. 

Wallower currently leads the Falcons, averaging 16.2 points per game. 

Cedar Crest, which sits at 4-1 overall on the season, will host Valley Forge Christian College on Thursday, December 3rd for a 7:00 p.m. contest in Lees Gymnasium.
