SALGE NAMED CEDAR CREST ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Allentown, PA (October 27, 2009) – Freshman field hockey player Lauren Salge (Robbinsville, NJ/Allentown) was named the Cedar Crest College Athlete of the Week for her outstanding play in the week ending October 26th.

Salge scored a career-high four goals and added one assist in Cedar Crest’s 9-1 victory over Rosemont College on Monday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference play. 

Salge ends the season leading the team with five goals and two assists for a total of 12 points.

Cedar Crest finished the season with a 5-12 overall record.
